Brittany is currently the director of photography of A Castle for Emily, as well as associate producer. She served as Director of Photography for Christian feature film, 12 Days With God, directed by John Ginty.
She began her career in journalism as a video journalist at Newsday on Long Island until returning to her hometown to pursue a master’s in photography at Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. At SU, she paid for her degree by teaching classes in multimedia storytelling and photography.
Her short film, Rose-colored, she co-wrote and DP’d, was an official selection at the 2017 Syracuse International Spring Film Festival and Austin Indie Film Festival, as well as in Hamilton, Ballston Spa, Long Island and Elevation Indie Fest in Dublin, Ireland. In Austin, Rose-colored won in the category for cinematography and women in film. At Elevation, it won the Spotlight Award for cinematography and story. She also partnered with several nonprofits producing documentary films in Palestine, Israel, China and Nepal since 2014, but is now settled in Syracuse to help spearhead the growing movement for locals to produce films there.
